Returns

We offer free returns of our products ordered from rains.com. You may get a full refund or exchange your item for a different size or color. You have 30 days from the day of receipt to return any intact items.

Refund requests for online purchases cannot be fulfilled in our physical Rains Stores. However, we are always happy to offer an exchange for a different product, color or size. Please bring the delivery note or invoice to the store. For products bought from an authorized Rains dealer, please reach out to the corresponding dealer for refund / exchange.


If you purchased from JCrew or Madewell, please reach out to us at us@rains.com to request an RMA for your return.

Start your return

In the following cases, you should contact us@rains.com for review before returning the goods to us.

  • If you receive a damaged or wrong product
  • If the warranty period is expired

How do I return:

1. Click “start your return” above and follow the steps. You will receive your return label in this process. Please note that Rains only offers 1 prepaid return label per order. For any additional labels generated, you will be charged 10 USD / Label.

2. Pack the product(s) in the original packaging. Include the delivery note (the paper that came with your order) in the parcel.

  • If the items being returned were purchased within a multi-buy or promotional offer, those additional items must also be returned. If the items are not returned, the value of the items will be deducted from the credit

3. Mail the product(s) to Rains US at 179 Entin Road, Clifton, NJ 07014, United States.

  • All returned/exchanged goods must have the original hangtag and be placed inside the branded poly bag. Products returned without poly bags or tags will automatically be rejected and returned back to the shipping address. Please note that customers are responsible for goods that have been worn, altered or damaged while in transit.
  • Stick the pre-paid return label from step 1 onto the parcel, and make sure all other shipping labels are covered or crossed out.
  • Drop off the parcel at a USPS location near you. Find one at usps.com.
  • Customers are responsible for any lost parcel when returning products to Rains.

4. We will process your request as soon as we receive your parcel, and you will receive an email notification shortly after.

  • The delivery fee will be refunded when a full order is returned.
  • If your order has been sent with non-standard delivery, the delivery fee will not be refunded unless the item is faulty, or wrong item is delivered.
  • We reserve the right to deduct depreciation from the return amount if the product is not in its original conditions.
